I've found (and I hope my MP opponent doesn't catch on) that if I draft a C and switch him Pre-TC to a Tackle that he'll keep his ratings. I think I first tried it on the suggestion of someone here, and it works. Is this always the case? Do most MP leagues limit these shenanigans?
Long Live Pat Warholic my new 79 LT drafted in the second round! Badass name too.

I'm actually surprised at that, it's normally almost impossible to switch anyone to LT and get a good one out of it. What was his experience level at LT before the switch, and what was his weight?

You did not upload the file with the position switch or it was not processed by your MP commish yet, correct?

I'll take a piece of the under, too.

Yeah - in MP, rating changes don't show until the commish imports the files. Before that, it'll look the same.

Geez, so skeptical.

Has anyone shown that a Left Tackle is actually better to have than a similarly rated Centre? Real life suggests so but we know the dangers of applying real life to FOF too liberally.

I am the commish in my MP league. because me and my friend are the only people in it, we control two teams each. With each team I drafted a C that was 77-80 overall. One player I switched in the Late Free Agency stage, one in the Pre-TC stage. So both were switched before the TC unveiling of bars and they both kept their full ratings. It is now at the next year's draft and they are both still 79 OVR.

Pretty much an anamoly, I guess.

It could be due to a rip in the space-time continuum. No doubt Q is behind this! Q--Show yourself!

Can we see any screenies on these guys? Would be great if you had the stage files to roll back and show us them as Centers as well. You may have discovered something really interesting for the community.

Well, I have the screenies of the right now, sorry no screenies as centers, but I will be trying this in this year's draft again. I have used it before, switching guards to tackles, and a center or two to guards, CB to S and such, I'd gotten in the habit of making all position switches for draftees before their first TC, but I guess I never tried a C to T...
And note that it will still give a msg warning that they will lose ratings but they just didn't. Makes me wonder how a FB to RB would work out, although the bars are different for these players, so maybe not as much success.
