I love the guy's street magic -- I love that he takes it to a lot of lower- / lower-middle income people right in their communities.
But this special was beyond disappointing.
There were some hardcore fans that hung out with him in Central Park for the whole 60 hours. There was weeks of build-up to his two-hour prime-time special.
And then he pulls a Peter Pan, floats around, and gets lifted into the darkness.
The only thing redeeming about the whole thing was the juxtaposition of the fans booing and yelling "Are you serious?!" with John Saunders trying to sound amazed and impressed.
