This is a sequel to my "Marvel Comics" game from last year, which held the record for "most posts" on the forum for about 15 months. In the last game Apocalypse and his Four Horsemen defeated the heroes. Since that time, Apocalypse has expanded his power base. He now rules over the Americas and his victory in Eurasia seems inevitable.
However, there is a resistance movement afoot, and they have infiltrated Apocalypse's leadership council. One (now dead) Prelate has been identified, could there be others? And how can the resistance hope to stand against the awesome power of Apocalypse's armies?
These concerns, however, may be secondary now that Galactus, Devourer of Worlds, has arrived. The two sides may be forced to join forces to cast aside this collective threat.
So, what is different about this game than the others?
- Each player that signs up requests a character. You will play the game as that character, rather than using your standard FOFC sign-on. This is the first werewolf game to allow you to play without the benefit (or distraction) of your "FOFC" identify, and the reputation attached to it.
- Each character is unique, with a set of abilities that roughly mirror their comic book equivalent.
Further details are available in the sign-up thread on the WW forum:
