I assume its 1 PM cst, but the presser is set. Haslett is taking over on an interim basis.
Lane Kiffin surely will be next now I assume but we'll see.

Too old. He hasn't done anything good in at least ten years.

Apparently Dick Vermeil said to keep Linehan. They consulted him over the decision I guess.

If horrible teams don't like their coaches, why not fire them before the season? Did the Rams think they were going to be good this year?

Sometimes there is a reason that bad teams are bad...

The thought was last year was ruined by injuries. They were healthy this year and still sucked, which is why they cut their losses.

Word around town is all the back stabbing that Haslett did is going to become public. Cant wait.
The Rams have not played for Linehan all season. Linehan hasnt been able to coach any of the teams he has had in St Louis. He hasnt had respect since he got here. The team didnt want an outsider for obvious reasons. In football its hard to change a system mid stream. Add to that the team is for sale.

Ah yes, what a replacement...Jim Haslett, the man who has led that utterly clueless, pathetic excuse for a defense...the man who was a complete and utter failure as head coach with the Saints.

I agree.. but at this point in time they couldn't make Saunders the HC.. he still needs to fully implement his offense.
C'mon Bill Cowher! I know that's a dream.... :)

Yeah, but when the 2036 season rolls around and the finishing touches are on the installation, watch out.
