Stadium construction/renovation

I was just looking for a thread to gain some information on this subject, however I could find very little guidance.

In my league we have the highest support for a new stadium in the league. However, our old stadium is still in decent condition. Its in VG condition, G turf, EXC parking lot. Our ticket prices are the highest in the league. The stadium is average sized I think, about 64,000.

We have solid finances, but I have no idea how much the team should offer to contribute to the project. Whether we should construct a new stadium or renovate the old one.

No idea how to go about this!?

I usually offer to pay half but I have an issue with taxpayers building stadiums IRL. When I pay half, the issue generally passes if I have decent support and you seem to have better-than-decent support.

If everything is in good shape, I'd leave it alone. If you really want to do something, and the stadium is kind of old, build a new one. It'll take several seasons to finish and by that time the one you are currently using will have deteriorated somewhat.
