Okay i have been playing this game a bit again and had a couple of questions.

1. How much does the rating of your facilities affect your recruiting?

2. Has anyone tried playing with an isolated team like Hawaii?
I would assume that the pool of talent in Hawaii would make it difficult along with the act that the rest of the talent pool is far away.

1. It does but I don't know if it's measurable.

2. No but I believe the key is your recruiting budget. On one extreme, the high prestige teams can recruit from anywhere in the world. The goal for low prestige teams is to get to a high prestige rating with its increase in funds. It'll hurt for a little while but you have to not go high on the coaching staff to free up more room for recruiting. If you can get 3-star recruits that are good in the fundamentals, it wouldn't take long to get up there to where the distances would not matter.

Just checked the manual and it says that the facilities will actually help players imrove more with better facilities.
