HI,
I'm getting a new computer tomorrow, and I would appreciate it greatly if someone could explain the steps or point me to a location where I can find them, for re-installing FOFC on my new PC.

Thanks

I finally figured it out.
Got it installed on my new computer and it was working fine.... however I noticed I had installed it to my C drive when I wanted it on my D drive. So I uninstalled....Stupidly forgetting to unlicense the game.....
When I went to install it again got a licensing error... and despite two attempts from the people at elicense control to help me I have not been able to progress. Keep getting an error message unable to obtain license 23

Has anyone else ever had this problem... and received a successful resolution from the license control folk????.
They've sent me some sort of elicense registration patch which hasn't seemed to work.

Im going to have to do this same thing. Can you tell me step by step what you had to do to switch the game and all the files from one computer to another.?

Yeah I finally ogt it sorted.
It turend out when I reinstalled FOF 2007 on my new computer it defaulted it into running in Win 98 Mode. I had no reason to think it was running in this mode, as I'd successfully installed it previously (before I mistakenly uninstalled it without renewing my license.
For some reason, and after days of getting various emails from Viatech help giving me patches for the elicense to see if it fixed my problem, I clicked on the properties for the FOF2007 exe file. This revealed it was in Win 98 mode. I changed it to XP and it then worked.

So....
Step 1. unlicense your game on your old computer.
Step 2. Copy the zipped game files on to your new computer.
Step 3 reinstall the game and when you start it up click the license button.

Check to make sure the game file is running in the correct Windows version you have, and all should be good.
