View Full Version : Shameless Plug: My Talk Show On Live This Sat. Night

If anyone here is interested, after numerous pre-recorded shows airing on XM (and XM and Sirius both more recently), CT & Jivin will be live, this Saturday October 25th, from 9pm to Midnight (Eastern) on XM 202 and Sirius 197.

It's been about 18 months since our last break, which was 2 live audition shows on then talk station 92.3 Free FM in New York. That went very well and we were given the job, but a format change literally days later ended that 2 days before we were due to start our shift.


With any luck this will end up bringing the same positives and none of the gut-wrenching negatives.

The facts:
Date: Sat Oct 25
Time: 9pm to Midnight (Eastern Standard Time)
Where: XM 202, Sirius 197 (I believe this is part of the "best of XM" package... though i honestly don't know how it works on the Sirius side)

You'll probably be able to tune in full-time when PSU starts to crush OSU like USC did.

OSU is a different team with Pryor at the helm... I'm not promising a win but can't do worse than the USC game :banghead:

Just what ct wanted I think. Turning this into a college football thread. :)

I won't be listening live because I neither have satellite radio nor will I be available at that time since I will be at a game. I do, however, wish you well and will listen if and when it becomes available for download.

As I have already said (I think), congratulations CT! I will unfortunately be at my wife's 10 year high school reunion that night, but we're also going with her best friend, who has XM, so I'm trying to get her to let us take her car. :)

Alright, I'll set my timer on my blackberry so I remember to tune in.

I believe the "Best of XM" is something you have to subscribe to if you have Sirius, so keep that in mind.

I heard CT and Jivin on Ron & Fez last night via 879 on DirecTV. CT's a celebrity, even if nobody can recognize that Jivin guy. If that is his real name...

Very good show ct. You guys should feel proud for your 1st live show in god knows how long and only your 3rd ever.

Unfortunately I missed a couple of chunks because my internet cut out. For instance, I don't believe I heard VPI call in.

I got a hook up to listen online. A little too much of the sex talk in the second hour, but good job so far.
