Stumbled across it at noon today when flipping channels.

The premise is that 10 girls are competing for a breakout role in Saw 6.

They're re-airing the premiere (tomorrow) at 10 pm EST/9 pm CST I think.

Surprisingly fun show. I enjoyed it and plan on watching the rest of the series.

You're watching something on Oxygen? You lose your balls somewhere? ;)

I haven't watched, but I've read about it, and it's a VH1 show. Oxygen must just be playing reruns or something.

He gets a little slack for that, but he still had to switch that channel on to see the reruns. ;)

The only reason I know this show exists is because Talk Soup mentioned it and showed the scene where all the girls are being sensual by fucking fruits...

These shows are big jokes.

I don't think I know anyone that has watched any beyond the 2nd movie, but they continue to rake in the cash. Saw V was made for just under $11 million and earned over $30 million its opening weekend. I'm sure they spent quite a bit on marketing as well, but once you factor in rentals and DVD sales the movie will have made quite a bit.

I actually think businesswise it's a pretty good model for Hollywood and Network TV to follow. No, not to make horrible movies, but to not try to hit a homerun every time. I think so many projects have such massive budgets that they can only be successful if they're the next Star Wars at the box office or CSI in the ratings.

Actually, with it's haul from this weekend, the Saw series has become the #1 horror franchise in box office money.
