Sounds like a cool project, but aren't we kind of past the whole "If Samuel Jackson is in it, it's going to kick ass!" phase of his career?

Huh? So they are making a remake of a remake? I thought the whole point of Barry Gordy's version is that it wasn't made to be taken seriously, but was just made to sell a soundtrack. I think I am a bit confused.

The Barry Gordon version was sufficiently awesome, I don't think you can do better.

i loved this movie...who among us can honestly say that they didnt "fake fight" with their friends and when they "won" asked, "Who's the Master?!"
