Yep great league, excellent pace 3/sims a week. Draft uses TCY for players. Some really great owners. Newbie friendly. If your new to MP this is the league for you.
Come on over and make Blood and Guts HISTORY! That is if you have the guts.

Decent paced. Solid competition. Started our own professional football history from 1966 onward. Good core of dedicated owners. Now come sign up and help us make our mark as we move forward. ;)

Just added some nice goodies to the league website. We now have a "Game of the Week" which plays out in a Solevision-style presentation (complete with custom midfield and endzone graphics for each team) right on the homepage (thanks to J.David Baker for that one!). Adding a newsticker and a few other gems to spice things up.
BnG is going to be around for the long haul. We'd love to have anyone, regardless of FOF experience sign on to help us make our own football history. Some good teams are available as well as others who will challenge the "rebuilder" if that's your bent.
So head over and check out Blood 'n Guts. Hopefully you'll join in for what should continue to be one helluva ride.

Folks, just wanted to say, not only is the feature game of the week "Broadcast" live, but every game is able to be viewed like this! No more going to the HTML Page to read what happened. Or waiting to DL the file, and watch Solevision when you get home from work, No all you have to do is pull up the web page find YOUR game, and sit back and enjoy. How easy is that!
Sign up, grab one of the few remaining teams, and have a hell of a time!

Two new GMs have already signed on. We're wrapping up the 1967 regular season and the offseason will be a great time to get involved. Several good teams are available as well as a few others with varying degrees of rebuilding needed.

FWIW, I'm one of the new owners mentioned above and from what I've seen thus far this is a league worth checking out....

We've had two more sign-ups and a third is in the works, so the teams are flyin' off the shelves. Get 'em before they're gone!

I just joined, and from what I've seen so far, this is a pretty slick league. Nice, easy to use website with an upload utility, and an awesome game replayer built right into the site.

We just wrapped up 1967 (our 2nd season) and as we get ready for the 1968 offseason activities, I thought I'd update our availability.
Right now (pending roll call), we have the following available. Note that new GMs will be able to move/rename their teams (so long as it doesn't mess up the geographical balance - eg. you can't take an east coast team and move to California):
http://bloodnguts.legendsport.com/fof_database/images/logos/huge/ban9.jpg
Ann Arbor Menace (AFC NORTH) 8-7-1
http://bloodnguts.legendsport.com/fof_database/images/logos/huge/ban84.jpg
Lincoln Railsplitters (AFC NORTH) 5-11
http://bloodnguts.legendsport.com/fof_database/images/logos/huge/ban33.jpg
Corpus Christi Inquisitors (AFC SOUTH) 11-5 - Just won the Title
http://bloodnguts.legendsport.com/fof_database/images/logos/huge/ban134.jpg
San Angelo Colts (AFC SOUTH) 5-11
http://bloodnguts.legendsport.com/fof_database/images/logos/huge/ban133.jpg
Salt Lake Templars (AFC SOUTH) 8-8
http://bloodnguts.legendsport.com/fof_database/images/logos/huge/ban8.jpg
Anchorage Polar Bears (AFC WEST) 3-13 (will pick 2nd or 3rd in rookie draft)
http://bloodnguts.legendsport.com/fof_database/images/logos/huge/ban2.jpg
Albany Steel Heads (NFC NORTH) 6-10
http://bloodnguts.legendsport.com/fof_database/images/logos/huge/ban120.jpg
Providence Gems (NFC NORTH) 8-8
http://bloodnguts.legendsport.com/fof_database/images/logos/huge/ban4.jpg
Alexandria Pharaohs (NFC SOUTH) 10-6 - Divisional champions
As you can see, there are a couple of good teams, several middling teams and a few rebuild projects: something for everyone.
If you're interested in more info, feel free to PM me here at FOFC, or pop over to the BnG site (http://bloodnguts.legendsport.com) and send a message from there.

One more team to add to the pile as the GM is leaving due to a lack of time. He's a leaving the team in very good shape, on the "Franchise Value Screen" the team is ranked #2 in the league. Decent roster, good cap situation, it's a team that is left in excellent shape for a new GM. The team's name? The Jersey City Uniforms.
http://bloodnguts.legendsport.com/fof_database/images/logos/huge/ban72.jpg
The team was 9-7 last season and plays in a very tough AFC East where three of the four teams had winning records and 4th place was 8-8.

The next step in the evolution of Blood 'n Guts is the replacement of TCY with Bowl Bound for the college portion of the league. Now you will be able to run a collegiate program alongside your BnG franchise (or even seperately).
Recruit a high school stud, watch him progress through his college career and get drafted by a BnG pro team and follow him through the end of his playing career - who knows he may even make the Hall of Fame.
I'll be using the utility dr.flounder made to import BB draft classes into FOF. I know there are talent issues (similar to those from TCY) so I will be applying the same solution: utilizing the Fictional Player Factory to get the proper spread of talent, then editing the BB class to fit into the recommended talent spread, ensuring a level and realistic amount of talent in the pro league.

I tried it. It's very weird, commish sent me the league batch, and a NFL batch.. the NFL batch works fine, everything loads up with the NFL teams... the league batch is creating some NFL teams.. a few random teams.. I don't know what the problem is :banghead:

Lincoln has been claimed. The others remain available.
One cool thing about BnG that not a lot of other leagues have is the integrated college sim, using Bowl Bound. Even if you don't have BBCF or don't want to run a college program as well, you will be able to follow the future pros during their collegiate carees before drafting them onto BnG pro teams.

BnG (http://bloodnguts.legendsport.com) has a few openings as we approach the 1969 draft on Monday. This draft will be the first in our league using players who have graduated from the BnG College league (run using Bowl Bound). I have a process, described on the league's forum, for creating well-balanced draft classes out of BB using a three-part combination of resources.
The College League also has plenty of openings if anyone is interested in running a college program and being able to see their standouts go on to pro careers.
The available pro teams are:
Baton Rouge
Ann Arbor
Anchorage
Inglewood
San Angelo
