Recently India have a reality show to find baseball talent out of their 1 billion citizens. Two guys were picked and have been blogging about their experience as they learn the ropes of baseball, pitching, and life in America. This is a pretty cool site and interesting read into how a foreigner views American culture and the great American pastime.

I'm Indian, but to give you context, these guys are the equivalent of taking someone out of the middle of Alabama. :D Good for them. Because of the popularity of cricket, I've always been surprised that baseball hasn't look at all the young arms.

This was a great read! The most impressive thing about them is their sense of respect and thankfulness. I wish more Americans could be like that.

I enjoyed the blog....I hope these guys get a chance. It would be great to see Indian players in big time American sports. I know the Indian population in the Bay Area would go nuts for them.

I heard an NPR story a couple of months ago on how hard the EPL is working to find Indian footballers. The first major league to develop Indian talent will make a fortune.
