I don't know if this has already been posted but you can download all the versions here: FBPRO-Online (http://fbpro-online.com/downloads.htm)
I never really played the game before, but I have had a hard time reading the play diagrams. They seem to be small and sometimes its hard to tell where the lines are going especially on defense. Anybody know a way to make the plays easier to read? Or maybe I am the only one who has an issue with this considering everyone loves the game.

Still the one of the best football games ever, especially with all the fan mods that were created to enhance game.

FPS 97 is awesome, I still have 97 and 99 on CD.

97 after it got patched is still my favorite. 96 is the best as is version although the AI for drafting was still horrible since it only looked at the primary stats from the position as to how to rank guys. My best DB pick ever was from 96 and I think he was like rookie free agent type buried within the draft and yet his stats screamed out as being an all-pro type guy. I loved drafting countless FBs and making them HBs since FBs were the ones that they gave any real cred for strength.

anyone considering trying this game allow me to make some recommendations.
1. Use the 98 version, best version of the series and you need to make sure you get the 1.08 patch.
2. Use the VPNFL (Vaguely Plausible NFL) files. They actually give you well, vaguely possible NFL results. As much as I love the game, the results pre-VPNFL could be a little out of whack.

I loved the FPS/Sierra Sports series. I was extremely let down when 99 turned out the way it did...they had so many things planned, and it showed so much promise then they just dumped the whole thing. I probably got into 95, and 98 more than any other. I still have 95, 98, and 99 on CD too. I remember being in an online 98 league many years ago which was a blast. Some of those guys were seriously competitive and it wasn't unusual to see the same people go undefeated every single year. Anyways, yeah I echo AgustusM's statements above. The 98 version post patch and using the VPNFL files is pretty damn good.
