So we know who the favorites in the Big 12 are for a pro future in the NFL. Who carries their clipboard in the preseason before getting cut in August?

Jake Locker and Mark Sanchez are left off for the reason that, well, they'll probably be drafted at some point.

Mitch Mustain couldn't beat out Casey Dick. So, anybody but him.

Rudy, but only because he's from my hometown of Melbourne, FL.

Shouldn't this be "Who will be the Raiders starting QB in 2010?"

None of the above. Especially the hack from UCLA... ;)

Honestly the only ones I could think of that might have talent at Carpenter and Longshore, but Mustain did almost beat out Sanchez at USC...

Mustain never had much of a shot at beating out Sanchez.

Not from what I read on the USC blogs... but I guess a UCLA fan should know more then I do about USC...

Good point, considering both Andrew Walter and Marquis Tuiasosopo would have fit perfectly on this list a few years ago. ;)

I think Willie the Wildcat might have some game.

Actually, some of these guys do have game, IMO. I can see Willie and Rudy being drafted, with Longshore, Olson and Mustain getting drafted on "tools" with good combine pre-draft workouts.

But regardless, I don't see any of them getting first day draft looks unless they just blow people away in workouts.

Olson won't get drafted for he mere fact that he has never been able to remain healthy. And what isn't he like 30 years old by now?

That's for damn sure.

Casey Dick is Corey Bramlet v 2.0.

Well, that's the point to needing a humongous workout, now, isn't it? :)

I voted Tuitama...best physical tools, and none of the other QBs have proven a damn thing.

On the contrary, plenty of those QBs have proven things.

Nothing good, mind, but they sure as hell have proven them!

Not just funny, but true. A point to you, CR.

The reason there was a new backup QB nearly every day in fall practice wasn't because they were so good but because they were so bad in practice. I'm not worried if you believe me or not, I'm not here to try and convince you likewise, but Barkley will be the #2 guy from day 1.

Okay, complete homer pick for Moevao. But, if any NFL offensive coordinators are tinkering with the idea of using their quarterback as a lead blocker, Lyle is your man.
