I just read through a third of that thread last night...it had me rolling. There's something about the earnestness and frankness of replies like "Goddamn, your girlfriend is ugly as shit, and I mean that in the nicest possible way." That never gets old.

Unfortunately, the first poster was faking...as is the second poster who comes in claiming to be her real boyfriend. It appears they're all just lifted from the myspace page of some chick.

I don't find the same type of joke over and over entertaining. I think I did a good job of getting rid of that humor for some time here. My post were very entertaining to myself because of the responses. Sorry if was suppose to entertain you.

If you get your kicks knowing someone truly is this ugly than have at it. As much as I want to run with that and make a joke out of it, I think a picture of her in decent clothes and different makeup go a long way. There is a girl who works at where I get my hair cut and every time I see her she looks depressed as hell, and with a minimum of 3 times the amount of makeup that's needed. I swear one of these days if it's just her and I in there I'm gonna giver her some constructive criticism coming from a guy. I only have a little idea of how attractive she would look like just because she buries it underneath her emotions and makeup.

Whatever you want to call me is fine. It helped me get to know people here. I'm not the type to post daily and keep up with most threads, but wanted to get to know people. JIMG is one poster I really never noticed when I lurked for over 5 years, but that is not the case anymore. If by saying I'm funny and seeing responses later to things I write is not allowed to help me get to know the site than I came to the wrong place. It is really hard to find an open minded person, I think I found a few on here though. I thought also acting like an ass would bring people together by laughing at me, why don't you want to get along now that I'm not being an ass?

Actually I think of something to type and before I finish come up with something totally different if I'm not focused and too lazy to go back and change it. Yeah. The thread was really disturbing. He left a few posts saying he was gonna OD on drugs and kill himself and put a link to the webcam. Of course people thought it was a joke and were egging him on. And then 5-6 hours later, people started to realize that the guy on the cam hadn't moved. At all.

People were posting image caps of the guy on cam from hours apart and you could tell he hadn't moved at all. The guy's personal details were finally figured out and the cops were called. They bust the door down and find the guy dead. All caught on webcam.

Gruesome stuff, to be sure.

I am afraid of the path our society is going on. I think things like suicide on the internet will be common place in the future. Some of these younger kids (noting that I am not much older then they are) don't know how to go out and make friends.

Let me get off the soapbox because I am getting depressed.
