Looking to either form or play in a new league.
Maybe promotion and relegation or something innovative/quirky. Plays two seasons a month, 10 days on/10 days off or something?
I'm thinking of a league that would say, be like solo league -- something you could get immersed into -- but wouldn't take up your entire life or become a full-time commitment.
Anyone?

I was thinking of starting an OOTP league just for kickis, but having never run an OOTP league I am um'ing and ar'ing over it.
I've created a 16 team Australian League, that each play a 60 game Schedule (2x H&A) with the top team in each division going into best of 3 Play-Offs.
I have created the schedule so that a round of games is played on Wednesday and a round of games is spread out over Fri-Sat and Sun. So effectively you will play a game on a Weekend and a game on Wednesday. I would be more than happy to send anyone the Schedule if they are interested.
Edit: Also let it be noted that this league does not have any Minor Leagues, so teams have a squad of around 30 or so.

DC, have you checked out Hardball Heroes? Just your usual 84-team universe. ; )

Oh my. That's a lot of teams. I can't even imagine...

The World Baseball Hierarchy might be an option as well, but the pace is slower than what you might be looking for.

Really, you're only worried about the five in your own division. It makes for great rivalries. But the scouting can be as narrowed or as endless as you'd like.
There is talk about a "Tournament of Champions" concept. Some are for it, some aren't.

I'd be interested... I've never tried my hand at an OOTP league but play solo all the damn time.
Another idea would be perhaps starting small and expanding as time goes on?

The league is conducted entirely using Basecamp (http://www.basecamphq.com) software, which includes integrated chat, an RSS feed to follow league discussion and the ability to conduct all of your league contact and business via email without ever having to login after you do it initially.
