You will find the answer to this if you kick around cnnsi.com this morning, but, having read it, it seemed like a good trivia question for those who do not want to look up the answer.

Two American cities support four professional sports teams in four separate facilities. What are the two cities?

This is probably not what you're looking for, but Chicago would work.

Cubs - Wrigley
Sox - US Cellular
Bulls - United Center
Bears - Soldier Field

Though I gather you are looking a city of only four teams with each in a separate facility.


Yeah, I am assuming he means a city with hockey, soccer, basketball and football all four in different facilities.

These days multi-purpose stadiums for baseball/football are less common so I assume it will be a city that has basketball and hockey in different arenas. Unfortunatly I know less than nothing about hockey.. so no idea who plays where. I know in both Boston and Atlanta the hockey team shares an arena with the basketball team. That used to be the case when I lived in Dallas too, but that was a good 14-15 years ago now so that might have changed.

Does Glendale count as part of PHoenix? If so, then Phoenix counts as far as I can tell.

Phoenix popped into my mind as well, but without looking it up I have no clue if the Coyotes and Suns play in separate arenas.

That makes sense that Detroit would be one with their hockeytown and what not. Phoenix suprises me though. The Suns and uhh whoever their hockey team is play in different arenas?

Yeah I'm guessing the growth in the area led to a lot of money coming in, which allowed for four separate arenas/stadiums to be built.

And BTW, the Coyotes play in something called the JoBing.com arena. Seriously?
