I joined a new multiplayer league and the citydata file was included in the files that changed all my saved games to the new league. Can someone send me the city data file of FOF 2007?

Backup the current universe files you have for your new league, then delete them. Start up the game, create a garbage league (setup doesn't matter), then check your universe folder for the default universe files.

That probably didn't work if you tried it. I forgot that you actually have to open up the city name and nickname editing screens to get the default files to pop up. Just hitting okay on the nickname screen will create frfoot.ini in the universe folder. You'll have to erase a charater then re-type it, so you can click change and okay to create the frfoot.fcy file.

I followed your instructions and made the changes and even made a new batch file but the game keeps changing the two teams I change every time when I run the batch file. The game now keeps changing the teams to the default teams, NFL. I had a file, SP, in which STL is LA and ARZ is STL but every time the batch file is started the teams reverse themselves.
I set up the files as follows after I changed the teams the way I wanted them:
copy universe\1969\frfoot.fni universe\
copy universe\1969\frfoot.fcy universe\
copy universe\1969\citydata.fdt
copy universe\1969\*.bmp pictures\
start frfoot2007.exe
any suggestion?

citydata.fdt does not need to be in the equation. Only the fni, fcy, and bitmap files.

I took the city data file out and the files still change back.

That looks right. You're certain you have the correct frfoot files in the universe\1969 folder?

The 69 file is a sp file. I was using the file fni and the fcy in the main fof file. Is that correct?

I figured it out I was using the wrong fni and fcy file in the main file rather than the ones in the universe file. The file did not change on this reload. Thanks for the help.
