Local media reports that Chris Claiborne has signed with the Vikings, no links to a story yet though.

the vikings don't play defense, what is he going to do??? :)
I think the Vikings are going to be disapointed in what they get.

If in fact he did sign, Id be interested in what kinda contract he signed. If it is more than 3 million per season then I think it is too much. He was a below average LB until this year when he was good. Has alot of potential but it doesnt seem to translate onto the field much.
If he signed a big contract then it was a mistake for the Vikings. If below it may be a good risk but he probably will disapoint Viking fans the way he has dispointed Lion fans for the past few years.
What I'm hearing is that he may have signed a two-year contract. If that's true then the Vikings aren't really putting too much risk into it.

I was really hoping the Seahawks would land him. With Brown and Simmons (who's calling the shots this year), he could have come in and just been a playmaker. Ah well, anybody upgrades the Vikings D, hope he works out for them.
