57.
Fitty-sevuuuh? I taut dey retiiiiuuured dat numbah.

Years ago, there was a local commercial in New Orleans starring former Saints LB Rickey Jackson. The Saints had retired his #57, and someone said "57" in the commercial. All of a sudden, Rickey pops up on the screen and says the above. That's all I can think of whenever I see or hear the number 57 now. "Fitty-sevuuuh? I taut dey retiiiiuuured dat numbah."

For those who are curious (and because I am also a math nerd), here is the factorization:
3,45869,53047

This was a bizarre, and most welcome, attempted thread jack.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Oh, and I think, along with "rural", "regularly" is a funny sounding word. And "retiiiiuuured".

I remember that, too, but I can't for the life of me remember the product in the ad.

My goodness, that man could not talk to save his life. Great linebacker, though.

I think 51 is the prime example (hah get it) teachers use in school.

I always thought 27 should be prime.

Maybe we should have a poll to determine new numbers to be considered prime from now on.

Then I guess that 2433212843 would be a better candidate for this thread.

Anyway, I'll go with 119.

Man, whatever happened to shows like 3-2-1 Contact and Square One TV? Square One is where I first learned about the Fibonacci Sequence. They were awesome when I graduated from Sesame Street. What was the other one?

That's a good one. I'll keep that one in mind.

3-2-1 Contact got lame after a while when they changed people. But the Bloodhound Gang was always worth it. Square One had something similar, didn't it? Some sketch with a girl ...
