View Full Version : Computer and TD/CAD question

Why is it that whenever I play the demo for either of these two games, it eats all my resources and locks up before I ever get very far?

This is the only game I have had this problem with and I just upgraded my Direct X to the newest release.

Any thoughts or ideas would be great.

Yeah, I know that both ME and win98 are not as good at managing memory as 2K and XP so they will not work as well on those OS.

Currently, I am using 98 first edition.

That would explain the issues described above. How much RAM do you have? Adding some at this point is cheap and a good way to increase performance.

384megs, my pIII 866 is going as fast as it can....i think

Can you upgrade to Win 98 SE? If you don't have that, I would see about getting Win XP Home. Your pc should run XP just fine.
