View Full Version : Switching teams in Single Player Mode
I want to switch teams in Single Player Mode but at the beginning of every season when the "Choose a Team" option is displayed I am never able to sign on with a new team. What do I need to do? Is this just random? Do you need to reach certain goals? My current team has several division championships and even a Super Bowl win. Also for fun here is a look at some of the "big" names on my current team, just imagine if this group had played together in real life.... Season: 1979 QB Joe Montana HB Walter Payton FB John Riggins WRs Lynn Swann, John Stallworth, Steve Largent TE Ozzie Newsome C Mike Webster G Max Montoya, John Hannah DE Randy White DT Joe Klecko CB Lester Hayes, Herm Edwards I know it is very easy to put together a "super" team, I just thought this would have been an awesome team in real life. Anyway can someone help me switch teams?

After a few successful seasons I've had offers there, what difficulty level is the game set at (to my knowledge you can only set this when you start the career)? My guess is the higher the difficulty level, the harder it is to get an offer.
Is there a way that you can basically hack your way into becoming the GM of any team you want? I have a long running SP game that has gotten kind of boring and I'd like to switch to the worst team in the league and face some new challenges.

Join an MP league, like the AUFL or vNFL House :) Seriously, I get bored with SP, to me it is tons more fun knowing there are other guys running the other teams.
Wow. The AUFL has a really awesome site! The game display is spectacular. Exactly what I'd like to see in a text sim.

2 teams open ... come on aboard! All games are viewable in the game center, not just the game of the week (check out the database at http://aufl.jdavidbaker.com/)

In single player to switch you have to be as close to 100 as you can be. If you hit 100 I am pretty sure all 31 other teams will hire you, if I remember correctly. You have to win the super bowl and make a huge profit to do it, with the best stadium and best roster already signed for the next season.
You can even play "Tuna" and switch every five years, but you have to be real good to do that for any length of time.
Thanks,
