I guess it's official today, Winter has really begun. We had some ice and a dusting a couple days ago, but nothing really bad.

Today (Friday) Up to around a foot of snow. This is the storm that dropped 3 inches on Las Friggin Vegas. At least I don't have to go anywhere.. Work told us all to bring our laptops home so we could work from home. which is good, because it's supposed to be at it's worst when I'm supposed to go in.

Saturday, more snow in the morning, a few more inches.

Sunday: A new storm comes in, and they're saying up to six inches..

Only like 800,000 people with no power or heat :)

One of my friends still doesn't have power/heat and we're about to get buried by two more storms.

Update: It's snowing so hard right now outside, combined with the wind, you can't see the mailbox across the driveway/street from the window.

So they're referring to this as "Winter Storm Austin". What the hell is that about? When did they start naming snowstorms?

So I can't tease the winter folk here about December weather anymore, since I'm in that 'winter group' myself.

Does it make me demented that I'm actually enjoying it? :)
