Speaking of which, anyone see the Tostitos (?) commercial with the early 20ish brunette, dark skin and a plethora of facial freckles pondering her choice of the fresh as nature Tostitos over some insipid corn chip pretender manufactured with all kinds of preservatives for her upcoming party while in a grocery store?.... Very near perfection (IMO).....

My wife tries to stay out of the sun when at all possible, so that cuts down on her freckles. But she does get them as a redhead.

Odd thing with my family though. My wife is a blue-eyed redhead who freckles. I was blond (long ago anyway), blue-eyed, and I freckle (probably none on my face right now, but many on my arms even in winter). My son has red hair and blue eyes and freckles.

My daughter though...she's blonde with blue eyes and hasn't freckled. At all. Never seen a one on her. Hasn't burnt, either (though we're careful with that, as she still is pretty fair), and seems to tan ok. It's as if some Italian gene from my dad's side decided to run an end around to manifest itself. *shurg*
