Hey, I work in Richmond and we heard nothing of this. Tho, since I work on a contract for a Bank, I do have Monday off ;)

I'm off Monday, too. I work as a consultant for Chesterfield County, and its mostly governments who are off today.

I want Atlanta to have a holiday for Bill Sherman. That would be cool. (At least name I-75 after him, as it rolls straight through Atlanta!)

From what I read your are not correct here. the King part is still Monday, today is just for Lee-Jackson.
I thought they were talking about a Cesar Chavez Day in Texas, wonder when that will happen.....
