The Best Product “As Seen On TV” Bracket
Posted By: Darren Rovell

Just as our best minor league baseball logo touched a nerve in March with over 700,000 votes, we realized we had something special when I called on my readers earlier this week to tell me what was the greatest “As Seen On TV” product.

Within a couple of hours, we got more than 4,700 votes, with the Foreman Grill beating out Girls Gone Wild and the Clapper.

To be fair, it wasn’t that comprehensive. We had write-in votes for ones we missed.

The Veg-O-Matic. The Buttoneer. How could we forget the Pocket Fisherman, Hercules Hooks or the Thigh Master? What about the Flowbee, the Chia Pet and Jack LaLanne’s Power Juicer?

So we’re doing it for real now. Settling it once and for all.

CNBC.com presents the search for the best “As Seen On TV” product of all time. Here is the 64-product bracket. If you’d like to print it out, we’ve made a PDF for you. CNBC.com senior producer Brian Beers has carefully done his best to rank each of the products fairly, though it’s obviously a subjective thing.

Here’s how it’s going to work.

The voting for the entire first round will begin today and will run through the weekend. We will close all the polls and declare winners on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. ET. All the other rounds will last approximately 20 hours, from when the match-ups are posted until 9:30 a.m. ET. The final match-up will take place on Monday, Jan. 26. A winner will be declared the following day at 9:30 a.m. ET.

If the Gold Kit is the turn your gold into cash infomercial, I see it as the darkhorse candidate. I'm calling a first round upset right now.

The Little Giant Ladder System as a 15 seed? And against the Shamwow? Horrible seeding. The Little Giant works great.

In the end, it's all about being hot at the right time. Right now, I'd pick the Shamwow to win it all.

My first head scratcher is why does ShamWow warrant a #2 seeding? Does this guy own stock in the company or something.

Missing all together.
Where are all those Dishes that are guaranteed to only increase in value?

What about all the Liberian Currency that is currently hitting the streets, thanks to the National's Collectors Mint.

Bowflex must have had some key injuries or played a mid major scghedule to get such a low seeding.
