Looks like this Wednesday is Cup games... would I train General there? I thought we get two offseason friendlies... I only got one, and I trained Stamina in that.

Hey Mike,
sorry, I'm probably the one who misled you in thinking we had two offseason friendlies. I didn't know the cup started the week BEFORE the first regular season game. I was sure it started AFTER the first Sunday.

Anyway, this week was your first week with only one game. Your training still isn't set in concrete. You still have until 12:00 (noon) on 3/28/2003 to change your training type. The reason I'm saying this is if you are afraid your form will drop too much with you stamina training and you want to play well in the Cup, you could train general first, then stamina second. That would boost your form up, right before your cup game, and your stamina training would bring it down a little...

For me, I will train stamina this week as I'm booked to play a bot team in my first cup match, so form shouldn't be that big a deal...

sweet! i'm playing a brand new div 6 team in my first cup game, i might actually win for once

Since there are 8192 teams in the cup this season, and ca 2700 human run teams, I think everyone is playing a bot in the first round. And 1400 enthralling bot v bot matchups...

hmmm.....sicne my last 3 games have all ended in ties, I was wondering what happens in a cup game if it ends in a tie? Do they go to extra time? a shoot-out? ....anyone know?

extra time and then a shoot-out if the game is still tied at the end of extra time
