The Heroes of New York were part of a pilot project we did to put two teams under control by communities. Both community teams made the playoffs this year. One of the community teams got a traditional owner and so, we're looking to see if anyone is interested in owning a team in FOOL.
It's a fast-league, we sim the entire season in one night. But what's good about it, is that we sim so many seasons, that you can learn lots about OOTP and player development, even in our strange lil' league, because we move faster than any online league on the planet.
New York is the only open team we have right now.
We've rolled back most of the rules changes we implemented, simmed about a decade ahead and we're into our 43rd season, so it's a great time to get in, as we've got lots of talent and yet, parity abounds.
Anyway, if you have questions or want to join in before tomorrow night -- seriously, you can lead the team into the post-season without having had to suffer through the week of getting them there -- let me know or post in the FOOL forum. (http://www.operationsports.com/fofc/forumdisplay.php?f=68)
