Hattrick... what should i do???

Im not sure what to do with the last 88k i have for my team. Im scared to go into debt but at the same time, i dont wanna be to cautious with my money. So far my team has played pretty well. Im 1-1-1 and my loss was because i fucked up and ran a 3-6-1(and we were using reserves anyway).Out of the 8 teams in my divison 7 of them are new. The other one just got demoted to our divison. He will probally win the divsion next year but 2nd place is completely up for grabs. Heres my team.... now i know everyone is gonna tell me to get a passable keeper but i dont wanna drop 90-100k on 1 player. My inad keeper is doing pretty good so far. He usually gets 2 stars.

Figure out what you want to do. Do you intend to play an offensive game or a defensive game? What formation (and flavour) do you intend to play?

Determine what your team needs to fill out that formation. Try out your players in the positions you *think* will work. For those who got below 2 1/2 *, try them at ANOTHER position they might work.

Figure out what position you have multiple young players to train. Start training that position once you are satisfied with your team's stamina ratings. I like passable+ everywhere, if at all possible.

Play away and hope for the best! :)

Im going all defensive so far. 4-5-1

I have a very good Forward in Seth Ortega. Im hoping i can keep the scores low and have him be my star forward. He has 3 goals in 2 games for me so far.

My main problem is im not sure what kinda money ill be bringing in during the regular season. I wanna have my youth squad maxed out at 20,000. So ill probally be losing money almost every week.

So if i keep that 88k i have now, ill have some fall back money to live off of for awhile until my youth squad starts producing some good players to sell and my fan club gets bigger.

So what kind of money can i expect in my first season with my youth club set to 20,000???

I don't know what the money in will be. Part of it will also depend on how well you do. And, basically, definitely try to not get shutout (heh).

The spendings you'd probably be looking at is: 20 000 for Youth Squad, roughly 9-10 Coaches in combination, 1-2 Spokesperson and 3-5 Physios. That's about US$40 000 to 45 000. BEFORE stadium maintenance and salaries.

Chances are you are NOT going to be bringing in that kind of money weekly. So, uhh, having spare money is a good idea. At least until the next transfer bargain catches your eyes. :)

Stay out of debt. Whatever you do, try to stay out of debt. Debt is not fun, and you may not get a player like "Tom Sanders" from your youth squad to bail you out. ;)

The other thing to keep in mind is the formation you play to maximize your training. For example, DataKing switches to a 5-4-1 to maximize the number of defenders he can train per week. If you intend to do the same, keep that in mind. (And check out some of the dynasties for ideas.)

inad keeper : 15-20 K$
passable keeper : 80-110 K$

Easy choice for me.
