With tomorrow being the official release date, I'm now putting lyrics to the songs up. I'm trying to decide how to present them. I've got lyrics up for one song now. Go to www.benelou.com --> Music --> Cry Of My Heart and tell me what you think about the presentation.

A little hard on the eyes (bigger font, maybe?) and the player functions (play, stop, etc buttons) are cut off on my comp.

On another note -- PICK GUARD, Ben! ;)

Here's the funny truth. After working seven years to develop that hole, I bought a CLEAR pick guard, so I wouldn't do any more damage, but that the hole could still be seen. ;) I took the pick guard off to take the photos for the CD and web site.

Dola:

So, are you saying the whole thing, or that the lyrics are too small? If the lyrics are too small, there are two options to solve it:

1. Have it open a whole new page for lyrics.
2. Make them larger in the current frame, which would mean many "song lines" would carry over onto a second line of text.

Re-sizing the frame isn't an option at this point.

I agree that it is hard to read the lyrics. The font is just a bit small. My screen is set to 1024x768. When I switched my screen to 800x600 it was easier to read, but I hate 800x600.

It's hard to say without seeing it, But I don't think I would like line breaks on a single line of the song, so I guess that I prefer a new window.

Ideally though I would prefer a larger frame. But you say that isn't an option

(Edit for clarity)

Try it now. I took it up to 9 point. There are a few line breaks, but not a ton.

Definately easier to read, but the song doesn't play now and my buttons are still cut off.

Much better. My buttons are also half cut off, but they are still usable. The song plays fine.

Another thought. You could try putting in a tab on the lines that have to break to the next line. It makes it clearer that it is all inteded to be a single line.

Edit: my example didn't work, oh well
