Any of you die hard hattrickers play this one? It looks pretty neat, but I wanted an opinion before I join.

How does it compare to hattrick?

Someone else asked about it around a month ago, and I got a team and checked things out. For me, it wasn't so interesting, more cumbersome than anything else. I set a starting line up and a training regiment and left it alone. I went back 3 weeks later and noticed I had won my first 3 matches, which for about 20 seconds almost caused me to spend some more time with it, but I still don't care for it. I'll stick to hattrick for now.

It was too slow for me, and I kept getting constant "This page cannot be displauyed" and I would hit refresh, and I would have to log in again. I liked how you didn't have to pay to set your uniforms, but overall I just like hattrick a lot more.

What I like:
I was searching for a new coach (c'mon, who doesn't when they take over a team?) and put in my search "criteria" (basically, price range). A day later, I get an in-game email from an interested coach. That ROCKs.
Tactical setting is visually done, which is quite nifty.
You can add extras to your stadiums (concession stands, food places).

What I don't like so much:

The interface is insanely hideous.
You cannot schedule a friendly against another player unless you're a paying member.
The interface is a crime against humanity.
The text report could be clean up some. [NOTE: They mention having done so recently but I haven't had a game since they did.]
Have I mention my dislike for the interface?
A LOT of really good ideas. Hopefully, they continue to improve it. The pay-for-friendly/cup thing, I don't have much of a problem with since they DO need to be able to pay for it somehow. The interface and usability does significant improvements, however.

I got a team there as well, but I haven't been back since that first visit - I might be more interested in the gridiron version that should be in the works, though.

I'm with Deadalus on this...interface is horrid.

World elite soccer is much better

'Course you are . . . I'm always right. Now you just need to accept that fact about properly setting your clock. :)

one correction, you don't have to pay to participate in friendlies, only in organized friendlies.....you can still participate in the crap shoot of sending lots of individual offers across the globe, kind of like hattrick

Oh. I did not know this. How do I arrange one? [I've tried to figure it out but couldn't.]

I played it, and couldn't ever get into it.

It's easiest to just go into the forum and ask for friendlies. Then after a bit check your challenges and their should be a few offers for you to accept or reject.
