Gamesplanet.co.uk SUCKS!

I pre-ordered CM4 on 3/11/03 and it still hasn't shipped. SI says all companies who ordered have had their games in stock for a few days now. People who ordered from GamePlay actually got theirs a day early (in England, of course).

Gamesplanet states on their site that anyone who didn't get their order in by 3/21 won't receive theirs right away...yet I ordered on 3/11 and mine isn't even shipped (the site even says they're 'awaiting stock'.)

This'll be my first CM experience...Hattrick got me into the soccer scene, now I'm expecting CM to ruin my life...in a good way, of course :)

Not your fault...you found the great price...which is the only reason sticking it out with them is worthwhile.

I'm with you, rexallsc. I saw the same thread here and also ordered that day (March 11). I didn't find the March 21 thing, but I didn't do as much research into it as you did. :)

As you said, they seem to be awaiting stock. Ugh.

Glad I'm getting into OOTP5, so I can maybe try not thinking about waiting for this.

Yeh, in the end, I'm sure I'll only get it a few days after I would've rec'd it through GamePlay, and the $ difference is nice...I just hate to be hte guy who is waiting while everyone else is playing!

One good thing: there will probably be patches for all major bugs by the time we get it :)

Here is a email sent to some:

Dear Customer,

This email is just to confirm that GamesPlanet are currently fulfilling all pre-orders for this game and these will be shipped today.

If you have ordered off us before you will know that we fulfill all of our pre-orders before the release date. Unfortunately, due to overwhelming demand for this game up and down the country we have experienced a delay in our first shipment. This is totally out of our control and we apologise for the delay.

Please note that no monies will be debited to your card right up until the time of despatch.

Royal Mail suggest a delivery time of between 1 to 3 working days on First Class Recorded Delivery items.
