I'm trying to get in a league, emailed some commissioners, but does anybody out there know of any openings or how I should go about getting into a league.
Thanks!

Try the multiplayer match making forum. There is usually an opening or two posted there.

Signing up at league's forums can't do you any harm either. Most leagues show loyality for people who tune in and show interest when there are no openings yet. These days it's basically a guarantee there will be one or two openings in any FOF league when the head counting starts for the next season.

The upside of that is that you'll have a much better time finding a league that fits your preferred pace, or makes it easy to cross leagues of your list that to you seem to run wacky rules for free agency, or run a draft style you don't like.

Yes, a bit of effort is often required to get in the better leagues.

We've got at least one team open in the vNFL House, which is a very well-run league and is a feeder league for the vNFL, one of the elite MP leagues.

I don't have a team in this league but I'm in the AUFL which is run by the same commissioner, but I believe there are some openings in the Blood and Guts League. Legendsport's a good commish and his leagues that I've been a part of have been a lot of fun.
