I'd much rather see the Raiders wait for the draft and grab Crabtree who now looks like he could fall with TJ going to Seattle and Coles going to Cincy.

While the Raiders have sucked lately, they actually don't have those kinds of players on the roster right now. And their coach is high character guy. I'm really hoping they keep going with that.

I hope that's not the case either. He'll be great in the slot. With the way things are falling, J Smith and Raji will be off the board. I'd like to see Crabtree line up as the #1 receiver based on the way it's looking right now.

I'd take him in Pittsburgh in a second. But that will never happen. I think his last 3 QBs have been very weak individuals.

I think Minnesota or Carolina would be good fits. Jake has the right personality. And Sage would feed him the ball.

TO helps us pick up 2 more rings in the next 3 years. We barely had any issues with Plex and he was here 5 years. Ben is a BMF and I think TO would respect him.

good point, forgot about that connection. I was just thinking how they just missed out on TJ.

As long as he stays far far away from the Giants.

I wonder what teams out there wouldn't touch him for various reasons. Off the top of my head

Cowboys
Eagles
Baltimore
Seattle
Indy
Vikings
Niners
Denver

probably others

More like 3 of his last 4 coaches have been pussies. Parcells was the only one who seemed to keep The Player under some type of control.

Swaggs
03-05-2009, 07:15 AM
Imagining T.O., Randy Moss, and Tom Brady together is a pretty scary thought. Brady and Belichick have enough spine to keep him in line, I would suspect.

T.O. is kind of a weird dude to get a feel for, because he seems to always want to chase the money, but he also never seems interested in teams that do not have established QBs.

Thinking it over, I think I'd pass on T.O. w/ the Steelers, even if it was a short-term, cheap deal.

Swaggs

I think any comparisons to Randy Moss are a little off, he's a different beast. Moss took plays off, and had some off the field issues but T.O is ALL about T.O. He loves attention, and you're almost guaranteed any team he plays for, he's going to sit down and rip a bunch of people if he has any success at all.

Moss seems content out of the limelight.

From what I saw of TO at the end of last year he is not a top-flight receiver at this point. Given all the baggage that he brings, I'll be surprised if there is much of a market for him.

I think you can add the Dolphins to the list of teams that would not be interested in him, as long as Parcells has say from the front office.

Wait you missed what exactly? Cassel hit Moss constantly last year. I'm not sure what exactly you're expecting? Or is it just a serious man-love on Brady that is missing in your life? You do know he's marrying the wench right? You're not gonna get those secret "night visits" from Tommy boy anymore ;)

Tampa is my best guess. They are doing some very strange things down there displacing character with 'talent' . Washington throws money away so quickly that you cant rule them out either.

Only the most delusional Steeler fan thinks that T.O would be a good addition. He disrespected Garcia, McNabb and Romo, why would he not do the same to Ben? Tigers dont change their stripes.

The day the Cowboys traded for Roy I said T.O would not be playing there next year. If baby cancer had a selfish big brother... it would be Terrell Owens.

Yep, reports are that they tried to trade him to Detroit for a low round pick and they didn't want him. Most predictable cut for Dallas.

Not sure about that. When he went to Dallas the QB situation was up in the air. Before coming to the Eagles his other option was Baltimore who had anything but a solid QB situation.

I think it's ALL about TO and that he would be more than happy to go someplace without a high profile QB. The less attention the QB gets the more attention he can get.

We barely had any issues with Plex and he was here 5 years. Ben is a BMF and I think TO would respect him.

T.O. does not respect anyone.

Not having any problems with Plax in 5 years in Pittsburgh is revisionist history. If a guy is one of the top 5 most talented at his position, and you make no attempt to keep him, there is a reason.

And, I think the team that will sign TO is the Redskins. I certainly don't think the Raiders will sign him until the know they don't get Crabtree. Since it now seems Crabtree is very likely to fall to the Raiders, I don't see him going there.

fantom1979
