Single for me.

I tried multiplayer, briefly, a few years ago and the pace just wasn't there for me. When I play solo, I usually sim out 4 blocks of 4 games during the regular season which I only interrupt if there is a signifcant injury. I make adjustments between those blocks if needed. I like to sim the games pretty quickly and build up history in a hurry.

Poorly.

I voted single player only, but, have played multiplayer in the past. I would say 95% single player and 5% multiplayer. But, seeing how FOF doesn't run on Macs, it is now 0% single player and 0% multiplayer.

I'm embarrassed to say I've never even TRIED to play singleplayer.

I have only done it a very small bit (probably not even a full season)

I only ever played single player. That said, I didn't buy FOF 2007 and really haven't played any version of the game since late 2004.

I don't play anymore, but my style changed. Before MP was introduced, I used to play several seasons in SP. When the first MP version came out, I stuck with SP a little bit, but the game didn't really grab me anymore, so I put it on the shelf for a while. Eventually, the WOOF league started, and I joined it. I was MP-only after that. I dropped out of the WOOF a while back, and I haven't played the game since.

I think because of pacing and the time commitment I'm willing to put in, if I ever go back to FOF, it'll be only SP. I can't see myself joining another MP league. I liked the WOOF a lot, but I never became as immersed in it as a good owner should, so I let it go. Honestly, though, I'm not even sure if I'll go back to FOF at all, though.

I play both quite a bit now. I'm in 3 multiplayer leagues (AUFL, BnG, WTFL) and I'mabout 20 years into an ongoing single player universe where I started with one team (replacing an existing club with a fictional team), built them up to winning consistantly then moved to a new team and changed the mascot/team colors and perhaps even the city(won't know till 2 more years go by) and once I'm confident that they're top flight I'll move again and do the same in another city.

I'm hoping to work my way through the entire league until I have 32 totally fictional teams.

I chose MP only, but last night I played a season of SP for the first time in a long while.

I liked the WOOF a lot, but repeatedly got my ass kicked year after year, so I let it go. Honestly, though, I'm not even sure if I'll go back to FOF at all, though.

Fixed that for you, Pumpy.

Very true. :) I almost put that I ran my team into the ground, but that seemed to imply that I did that on purpose, which was certainly not true.

started playing historical replay only, now mainly MP, so chose MP only

I bought the first four versions of FOF none of which had an MP option, so I had no choice but to play SP which was fine. I've always wanted to try MP but just can't commit the time on a regular basis.

I do have a question regarding MP: is it all human only? That is, if you want to simulate the NFL but don't have enough human (or a reasonable facsimile) GMs, is there an option for computer-controlled teams or no?

Single player only on Wall Street level.

Any teams not controlled by human beings are run by the same AI that you face in single player.
