OK, I've figured out how to sim through a season. I can even do contracts however unlike other sim games that I'm used to playing there doesn't appear to be any "point me in the right direction" tips in the game or "weekly reminders" of what to do so you don't miss anything.
For example. When doing contract extensions, it appears you can do them anytime during the regular season but they are not actually "extensions" but restructuring the current year and then adding years. I've been unable to "keep the current years contract" for the final year of the existing deal and then extend out from there. I waiting until after the season rolled and I lost all those players.
Also, the e-mails do seem to give some idea of what to do..for example now it's saying to set up training camps. However, I am unable to find Setup Training Camps under any of the tabs in the game and there is no "Training Camp" button at the top of the screen/toolbar to action this event.
So, in a nutshell for someone that plays a lot of sim based games but is going on 24 hours for this one...is there an easy way to find all this info and get used to the nuts and bolts of the game?
Oh, I use Vista and appears that the help function doesn't help with Vista as I get error messages when I clicked that.
