The GEFL site is currently down. There was a server hardware failure. Unknown ETA
I've been on the phone with the webhost all morning.

Still no ETA when the site is going to be back up. All I can get from the tech support is that it's a 'cluster hardware issue'.

I said, yeah, it's a cluster **** and the tech busted out laughing.

This is the update I just got:

There was a complete hardware failure on the server. There has been a problem with one of the drives for the past week that wasn't detected and caused the backups for the past week to be corrupted.

Data recovery was successful in recovering all the information from the failed server, through the 16th.

The server rebuild started this morning (3/17) at 5:37am EST, and should be completed within 24 hours.

UPDATE:
They are giving me 2 years of free hosting because of the downtime.

The main page www.goldenerafootball.com (http://www.goldenerafootball.com) has a pointer set up to take it to the 'real' main page of www.goldenerafootball.com/home.php (http://www.goldenerafootball.com/home.php) but for some reason the pointer is not working. It may have something to do with the restore, I have opened up a ticket on it. Also, I have called because I cannot access the sites webinterface control panel.

www.goldenerafootball.com/home.php (http://www.goldenerafootball.com/home.php) should get you started.

There is a problem with the re-direct from the index.html to home.php that is now causing a loop. I have a ticket in with the webhost to correct this.
