I've created a Google Spreadsheet to track scoring. It is published at:

2009 Top Gun Game B - Google Docs (http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=p8rwzMCrt0_K5yJ9HCskZJg) (or Welcome to Google Docs (http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=p8rwzMCrt0_K5yJ9HCskZJg)) if that isn't working)

Please check your teams to make sure everything is accurate if you're a participant.

The draft can be found here: 2009 NCAA Top Gun Game B DRAFT THREAD - Front Office Football Central (http://operationsports.com/fofc/showthread.php?t=71290)

Ditto squared, this was well run and efficient.

appreciate it, aside from flere's week in pictures, this is my favorite FOFC tradition by far, so I'm happy to do whatever I can to keep it going strong. :)

Ok I think I screwed it up the same way last year at first. How about:

scores are updated through today's games, not sorted yet, I'll do that after each round.. no one had any Clemson players in this game so Maynor from VCU is the only player gone for anyone.

Abrahms had a good round 1. Kind of kicking myself for not going with Vasquez from Maryland as my >10. Zona better represent.

Mine too. I wish we could come up with mini-games like this for MLB, NFL, and the NBA.

The pro sports are not so concentrated like this tourney is, though.

5/6 advanced so far, but not much scoring from anyone except Ellington. Hopefully USC wins tonight.

Karlifornia

Thanks a whole lot, Gary Wilkinson and Utah State.

Nice pick on Woodside, DC. Gibson is having a good night, but might not get to 37 even if they play 3 games.

Thanks. I was really afraid someone would get him before I did in Round 6, because I wanted to take him earlier, just knew it wasn't prudent.

I didn't know if those boys would make it out of Round 1 and I can't say I saw him going for 30+, but the next best thing to them advancing was having him put up that many points. I was pleased to see it.

Happy bout all 6 still standing. But I'm gonna need a few better games to win this.

Wait, not same, you scored 40 more points than I did this round.

Scoring is updated through round 1 in the first post. All individual details are in the google document.

Blake Griffin rules. That is all.

I think in the spirit of competition you guys should double Lawson's points from today.

Young Drachma
03-21-2009, 07:40 PM
I regret my homer pick, obviously. Otherwise, I'm fine with my choices..even as things went how they did, since I was mostly just guessing. But oh well. I had a better showing this year than I ever have before in this competition, so I'm fine.

Danny
03-21-2009, 09:58 PM
Good day today except for Thomas losing, having all four of my guys advance from today would have been nice as both of my guys in tommorow's games are underdogs.

stevew
03-21-2009, 10:26 PM
Not a good day for me today. I think I got less than 40 points outta 3 guys, and lost one of them. Need huge days from Hill/Blair/McNeal tomorrow, and they gotta stay alive.

stevew
03-22-2009, 04:05 PM
Have at least 4 getting through the next round, still not happy about the performances by some of my guys, Blair in particular. McNeal basically needs to go off(and Marquette win) for me to stay in the running for this.

Lathum
03-22-2009, 04:10 PM
I'm excited I get another game from Buddinger. Louisville most likely plays aqizona so i lose someone then either way.

stevew
03-22-2009, 04:13 PM
Yeah, Lathum. I don't think either of us can be pissed about getting at least 3 games out of our >10.

Groundhog
03-22-2009, 07:13 PM
Devendorf and JaJuan Johnson doing well for me, but I need some major upsets to go down for me to have any kind of shot at this.

Danny
03-22-2009, 07:16 PM
Harden busted my draft. Can't believe he only scored 20 points in two games.

Neuqua
03-22-2009, 07:22 PM
I suck.

Marmel
03-22-2009, 07:36 PM
Slow and steady wins the race? Probably not. My only saving grace is that I still feel I am almost a lock to have 4 Final 4 players.

stevew
03-22-2009, 07:40 PM
I basically have almost no shot at getting out of the one side of the Bracket. A best case scenerio would have Pitt vs UNC coming out of the one side. But even then it's likely that it would help others just as much. So, in short, I'm about as good as I'll be right now, and likely to finish about 5th or so.

Young Drachma
03-22-2009, 08:10 PM
I peaked early, but...like I said, still the best showing I've had in Top Gun. I had no idea about any of the teams this year, so...I wasn't expecting much.

Karlifornia
03-22-2009, 09:01 PM
I feel as though I'm in great shape. If Gonzaga can beat North Carolina, then I'll really be feeling good.

lathum, karlifornia and ntndeacon all three with very strong scores at the top and multiple players left.

Lathum

Karl is gonna be tough to beat. You have to assume Griffen is gonna have at least one more big game. Considering I drafted 11th I am pretty happy so far

Karlifornia
03-28-2009, 07:20 PM
I don't think I'm gonna win. I just sense MSU and Oklahoma getting knocked off tomorrow.

stevew
03-28-2009, 09:53 PM
Not that I had a chance but Pitt dying ended my slim hope.

Always next year.

Radii
03-28-2009, 09:59 PM
well, ntndeacon picked up some good points but lost 2 of his 3 remaining guys. Lathum's down to Terrance Williams. Tomorrow will decide a lot w/ Karlifornia's two guys, and Marmel still has 4 alive.

Marmel
03-29-2009, 09:45 AM
I am certain I will have 4 players playing in the Final 4. Unfortunately, one of them is Deon Thompson. That was a horrible pick. Even worst is that UConn would play Louisville in the final 4, thus knocking out one or two guys. I think I'll have a top 5 finish, but nowhere near enough to win this thing. Thanks Deon!

Radii
03-29-2009, 06:37 PM
Updated through the end of the elite 8. Karlifornia has the lead and 2 left, with 1 guarenteed to get into the finals. That will be hard to beat.

Karlifornia

Come on, baby! I really want this win! Thank you Blake Griffin. You died an honorable soldier.

Not that it matters much but I still have 2 left (Reynolds/Lawson)

spreadsheet was right, I just copied over wrong into the table, whoops! Fixed. Lawson is great, but he's probably not going to get you 50 points over the next two games each sadly.

I just want to finish ahead of Marmel.

scores updated, Karlifornia would seem to have an insurmountable lead with 1 player left for the finals.

stevew
04-04-2009, 11:45 PM
Alright, only need Danny Green to outscore lucas by 40, and not have Hansborough/Morgan outscore him by 18. WE CAN DO THIS!!!!

ntndeacon
04-06-2009, 11:13 AM
GReen should just get under his total for the semis. no passing allowed this late!
