I've created a Google Spreadsheet to track scoring. It is published at:
2009 Top Gun Game A - Google Docs (http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=p8rwzMCrt0_Jcynrv6h24Iw) (or: Welcome to Google Docs (http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=p8rwzMCrt0_Jcynrv6h24Iw) if the first link isn't working)
Please check your teams to make sure everything is accurate if you're a participant.
The draft can be found here: 2009 NCAA Top Gun Game A DRAFT THREAD - Front Office Football Central (http://operationsports.com/fofc/showthread.php?t=71289)

Thornton with 27 points is a nice start.
Radii

20+ for Hansbrough and Ellington, Green with his average or thereabouts, Thompson totally not showing up at all.
Logan

Thabeet is off to a nice start with 18 points early in the 2nd, glad he has that many especially if they let him relax for the rest of this blowout.
DeToxRox

9 pts, 10 boards for Hummel, 6 pts, 8 boards for Dozier.
Not a great start but at least both moved on.

I took Ellington over Lawson and you lucked out that Lawson was taken first.

I took Ellington over Lawson and you lucked out that Lawson was taken first.
Very much so. At the time I assumed that sitting out the ACC tournament would be enough for Lawson to be healthy this weekend.

27 points for my 10 seed player, Grievis Vasquez, who I'm pretty sure was a Star Wars villain. Even better is that he moves on to score more points.

First, thanks for running this!
Second, am I the only one who has GoogleDocs saying it's unavailible?
Radii

Try again sooner, I re-published it. Last year we had an issue with people not having google ID's viewing it at first, so I may not be doing everything correctly(I don't use google docs for anything but this really so I haven't used it since last year)

Welcome to Google Docs (https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=p8rwzMCrt0_Jcynrv6h24Iw&hl=en)
and try that as well if the first link doesn't work.

Dentmon with a stinker, but at least Washington moves on so he can make up for it.
Logan

Josh Heytfelt is sexy.

scores are updated through today's games, not sorted yet, I'll do that after each round.. VCU and Clemson are the only two teams to go down with anyone on any of our teams. I'm quite pleased to get another game out of Western Kentucky.

Round 1 scoring is complete. total scores updated in the first post, all individual details in the google document.

uughhhh...I thought Johnsn from Wake would take me deep in the touney
now I am counting on Hansbro and Collins

Yup, I thought Teague could have been one of the more exciting players in this tournament.
I expected to get 2 games and 45+ out of Douglas too. Maybe I can get 25+ games from Lyons and Ellington, and W. Kentucky can win another game? :banghead: Yeah, seems unlikely.

About to lose my first player, but at least Vasquez is putting up some garbage points before he goes out.
Logan

Ugh, not much of a contribution from Thabeet today.
larrymcg421
03-21-2009, 06:24 PM
LSU-UNC a key game for me. If LSU wins, not only will it help me with Thornton getting to continue, but it will eliminate guys from alot of other squads.
larrymcg421
03-21-2009, 07:04 PM
So much for that. I lost three today - Thornton, Vasquez, and Dentmon.
Radii

Well, I got the good game from Ellington that i needed, but Thompson is just a no show(which sucks for this game but I'm very pleased with Davis getting more minutes as a UNC fan). Its all on AJ Slaughter now!

Johnson's 22 and Purdue advancing keeps fairly slim hopes alive for me. I definitely need a Syracuse win today to have any kind of chance.

Dionte Christmas is out for me, just thought you might want to update the spreadsheet with that. So I only have 3 left. I'm pretty much done.

Scores are updated through the end of round 2.
Its still a pretty wide open contest. Western Kentucky going through would have done a good bit for my chances, unfortunately. If Mizzou could beat Memphis though I could be right back in it pending the other games.
larrymcg421

I've got the lead, but down to 2 players. It'll probably take a monster tourney from Blake, including Oklahoma appearing in the title game.
Logan

I like my chances at this point. I think Arizona has a shot against Louisville.
CU Tiger

Down 53 but having Collins and hansbrough is encouraging....
Duke is on borrowed time ut that is what makes K great

Spreadsheet is updated. It looks like its most likely Logan's to lose, though tomorrow will still say a lot about that. If Blake Griffin keeps scoring 30 a game larry can't be counted out either.
larrymcg421
03-28-2009, 03:49 PM
I like my chances right now, as long as Oklahoma keeps winning. Pre-Elite 8 I have a 12 pt lead on logan and we both have one player left. dacman is 32 pts behind and also has one player left. hoopsguy and Radii can't be counted out yet either, as they have strong combos of players remaining.
Logan

Yeah last night was no good for me.

Scores are updated, 1st post is also updated and sorted.
jbergey is in an interesting spot near the bottom but with 4 remaining.
I don't seem likely to have a shot unless Deon Thompson decides to show up the rest of the way. And really, I'd rather lose and have Ed Davis in the lineup so its all good. Hoopsguy probably has a better shot than I do.
Logan isn't far behind and his 1 remaining is Thabeet, so if UConn goes to the finals he still has a shot too.

Updated through the end of the elite 8. Larry has a 30 point lead over Logan but is done. Lots of other people have 1 left, I have 2 and jbergey 3 but we're a real long ways behind.

In my quest to not finish last, I must ask that Jeff Adrien have the line through his name for my team removed as he's still in it! All I need is 55 points a game in the Final 4, and I'm back on top.
Radii
03-29-2009, 06:52 PM

I don't think Thabeet has been involved enough for me to overtake larry. dacman might have the best shot.
Radii
04-04-2009, 07:44 PM
jbergey gets 39 from lucas and morgan and both advance. He's within 40 of larry now with Lawson left tonight + 2 or 3 to go monday.
Radii
04-04-2009, 10:50 PM
looks like its jbergey's to lose. Well I guess technically larry is in the lead still so its his to lose, but jbergey is only 18 behind with 3 players going in the finals. I'm 48 behind with 2 left but yeah, not a chance.
