I just found out yesterday that one of my fav sites, Home Of The Underdogs, has finally gone down. It hadn;t been updated in years, but I loved it very much.
It's apparently been down for a while now, Feb 13, but I searched here for Underdogs and could not find a thread that announced it, so I thought I would let those of you who didn;t know know.

Yes, that was one of my favorite sites as well. Always had it bookmarked.
I think it's been down much longer than Feb 13th though as I have not been to the site in a long time and went to it when I first heard it was dead.

Loved it, but it got so damn complicated to get DOS games to work that I didn't use it very much over the last couple of years.

I love that this:

has a footnote.
It does seem like a perfect project for a university organization. I'd imagine funding a web host wouldn't be that difficult with a well worded grant application.

Man, I love Underdogs :(
It allowed me to get a lot of the old games of my childhood that I'd lost back.
