Anybody know how to turn a ton of PDFs into one giant PDF?

Right now I've got 40+ PDFs, each of which are 2+ megs that I'd prefer to convert into one large PDF and hopefully trim down the size if that's possible.

Problem being I don't know how to do either.

Acrobat has an import feature built in. Open one, and you can append the rest of them. Pro version does, I dunno about the free one.

What about FoxIt?

PDF Split and Merge (http://www.pdfsam.org/) will merge them together, but I don't know about making them smaller.

Gios PDF Splitter And Merger (http://www.paologios.com/products/psm.aspx) is very good and simple to use, too.

izulde - as far as reducing the size - have you tried reducing the quality of the images within the file? You can do that from the file menu within acrobat - that helps reducing size.

Another thing that helps can be printing it to PDF again (once combined as one file) - it tends to reduce the overall size
