I thought I had seen information on the forum regarding the "draft card" that would tell you what you should pay for a particular spot in the draft or what you should ask for in return for a certain spot...similar to what NFL GM's use. However, in doing a search I couldn't find this. Anyone know that thread offhand, or where data like this could be found?

I believe there have been a number of draft value charts released since Jimmy Johnsons original one. These new charts are alot closer to the actual values traded in the NFL.

I'll see is I can find the links to the charts.

The chart posted at NFL has what I view to be a pretty deep philosophical flaw at the top. What you should expect to see with a generalized chart is a reduction in the incremental drop in point value with each successive pick. In theirs, they start at 3,000 points and drop exactly 400 points for each of the first three increments, and then suddenly switch to a 100 point dropoff.

Instead of 3000-2600-2200-1800-1700-1600, a more defensible schedule using the same high value would be like 3000-2500-2100-1800-1700-1600.
