Geraldo has been kicked out of embedded unit for giving away to much information. Sad, really. Not because I like him, but I liked his interviews with the 101st.

Never mind. Geraldo is still in country and has not been kicked out.

I first thought the name of this thread was "So long Gerardo," and feared the worst - that we had lost Rico Suave.

I did hear that Geraldo is planning a special where he opens the vault door to Saddam's bunker...wonder what he'll find.

;)

LMAO!!

You see, this is exactly why we need an ESPN Classic kind of channel for Regular TV.. Who wouldn't love to watch that idiot make an ass of himself again when it came time to finally open the "Secret Vault".

I think he has been kicked out. Although he wasn't really embedded he was asked to leave. Read it on the drudgereport.com that the Pentagon made it official.

He's a moron. I was watching him do his report the other day and thinking to myself when were they going to get him the hell out of there. He practically gives out directions to the Iraqi army for just how to get to them and maybe where they may be the most vulnerable.

I say we try to air that Saddam's vault special now. Let's send him into Bagdad to find the vault, tell him we've secured the city and he has to go in and use his excellent reporting skills to find and open the vault. Don't worry about those armed Iraqis, they're just part of the background for the show. :D

Well, I've seen him live on Fox since then and they asked him about it. He said he has no idea how that got started, but he thought NBC just made it up. Anyway, the report said that the commander of the group he is with asked him to leave, and that commander was with him when I saw him. I think the report is incorrect, or they haven't told him yet.

Well he was on for an hour with the 101st last night. He revealed they were in Najaf. But every embed and unilateral has stated what city they were in.

Can't somebody just shoot this prat for crimes against the humanity (or at least crimes against journalisam) - he is a complete air thief - what a waste of time space and energy this man is.

As you can tell I have no opinion about Gerlado whatsoever

was Geraldo ever actually considered a real, credible reporter?

Not by anyone with any ability for logical thought whatsoever.

good, I was a bit worried there.

to me, using "Geraldo" and "reporter" in the same sentence is kind of like using "FOX" and "news" in the same sentence.
