Just wondering if anyone is working on a utility to determine play breakdowns in a game. I'm looking for a utility that looks at past gamelogs of my opponents and tells me how often during their past games they run the ball on 1st and 10, etc. Probably nothing out there but sure would be a useful tool for many GMs.

I remember seeing something like this in the FOFL.. I don't know how it was done, but someone compiled a breakdown almost exactly like this..

I'll see if I can find out anything more when i get home from work if no one else has gotten to it.

There have been a number of threads here about people trying to crack the data structure of the Solevision files. I think that is an essential step toward a utility of this sort.

Parsing the game logs (which is what Fritz has done some in the FOFL) will give you some of the picture, but not a complete one. Without Solevision data being used, there would be missing data on pass distances, and maybe a few other things that I'm not thinking of at the moment.

AH, thats what I had seen.. still very in depth though. I was worried it would give away too much about the way I play my defense.

It would be cool to see something like this though.
