Given the interest level for my fiance's D&D game, I thought I'd start up a Vampire game, since Vampire seems to be much more conducive for a play-by-post game than some other RPG's are. It'll be either Masquerade or Requiem, if you're familiar with the games. Creative writers welcome.

No previous Vampire or RPG game experience is required.

If you are interested or would like more information, please PM me or post here.

That could be fun, I haven't played Vampire in a long while. Assuming it's not too much for me to keep up with, I'd be interested.

Obviously, I'm in. I love Vampire.

Definitely interested. I played a little Masquerade (not a lot so not terribly familiar) but haven't seen anything on Requiem.

My vote (if needed) goes to whichever one would allow the use of an Assamite character ;)

I've run a few VtR sessions with my local group and consider the setting excellent.. the WoD-rules are easy to grasp and play fast. Unfortunately I don't have the time to do any play by post, but I'll come by this thread to read as often as I can to follow how the story progresses. :)

I haven't done anything with VtR, just VtM.

Would antitribu or neutral-aligned characters be allowed? What about minor bloodlines? Or alternates to traditional clan setups, like that one Toreador swordfighting line?

There's a lot of clans I like (particularly Lasombra, Tzimisce (even though I hate the Sabbat), and Toreador. I've also always found Ravnos interesting, even though I've only ever played one).

They've changed things around a bit.. nowadays you have clans that indicate which powers vampires get, but neonates now chose a covenant for their ideological beliefs. Covenants are sort of like political parties or in some cases religious affiliations.

There are fewer clans now, and Toreadors are actually a bloodline within the Ventrue-clan.

I miss Kindred: the Embraced. That's all I know of the WW world though.

I've never played before, but have a passing familiarity, and I'd be interested. What would the time commitment be like?
