$20 is a damn good price - i'm torn. but it's almost like...if i buy 1 then i won't buy 2 for a while, so i'd almost rather wait for 2 at full-price, and i assume gary would rather i wait as well

My goal for "2" is to have it released for the next NBA season. Doesn't mean it will happen but that's the goal - now that would mean that the pre-order discounted/open beta version would need to be along before that point. No matter what the complete version of "2" won't be along any time before the start of the new season. However if you don't mind being part of the open beta my goal for that is sometime early this summer.
