View Full Version : My first 100/100 QB

In my current career as the Lions, I've been trying to primarily build through the draft, and limiting myself to FA's, etc. After about 10-12 middling seasons, I finally spotted Rich Wilson, the QB of a lifetime in the draft(like all red combines). Uncharacteristically, we weren't picking in the top 10 that year, so I ended up trading 3 #1s and 2 elite young players(3rd year DE 70/70ish, former 5th overall pick, and a 3rd year 65/65 WR i grabbed at the beginning of the 2nd round)

Anyways, after a couple boom training camps, dude is now 99/99 and was even 100/100 for a bit(of course I can't find that image capture, go figure :) ).

Only bad thing, is that Wilson only knew 6 formations his rookie year, but has progressed to now knowing 10. The lack of the 3 WR formations has created some monster stats for my 2 gazelles.

For my best(and sadly declining) WR season, I doubt a 193T/136R/2244yd/22TD season is a record or anything, but it's probably the best single season WR performance I've ever had.

In his 6th season, Wilson posted a 399/567, 5330 yd, 54td/9Int season for a rating of 125. Sadly my stud receivers are aging, so I'm going to have to find some studs quickly if I want Wilson to smash every passing record I've seen.

And thankfully FOF2k7 is a bit forgiving on major injuries. Wilson tore his ACL his 2nd season, which in the past would have probably ended his career.

Here are the team stats for my latest season. Sure we were pass heavy, but I'd say we still ran a fair amount of the time.

thanks for sharing. I guess this shows size doesn't play much into things. He's only 6'1"

Of course we went all Patriots in the Superbowl, finishing at 18-doh.

His timing sucks, I would have to pass on him. ;)

A joke, but it is one of the ratings I like high. Different ways to skin a cat though.

Now that he knows 12 formations he is spreading the ball out too much. I really need to find another 100 route runner. And I couldn't afford to keep Chike Okeafor on as OC. We've thrown for 600 or so less yards the past two years in roughly the same attempts.

Best CB I ever seen(far as big red bars anyway). I was horrible the prior season and was able to draft him: As you can see, he is PERPETUALLY injured, but at least he looks great on my roster!!!

I know this is an old thread, but I recently began a career in FoF2K7 and gave up a ton to jump up and grab a qb. I gambled and I think I won. :) He is rated at 100/100 in every category except scrambling frequency and kick holding where he is rated 58/100 and 96/100 respectively. I didn't know they would ever be rated that high. He is also only beginning his second year.

Has anyone had one with 100/100 in all categories?

Hm. I have noticed a number of subpar/mediocre QBs with very high (80-100) timing ratings come from the draft. Maybe I'm focusing on just one trait, but it doesn't seem to be a good indication of a quality player...although it's nice to have, sure. How rough was that first year?

Years ago I started a SP league with the 1960 historical rosters.

I did a first year draft and got Bart Starr at 100/100 with the first pick!

Considering he was drafted in the 7th round and got over $4 million, I'd say that's a misnomer if there ever was one. ;)
