How important is it for your head coach to have high ratings in offensive and defensive playcalling? The reason I ask it my SP team is stacked on defense. My two DEs who are both 71 and 95 in pass rush technique just combined for 19 sacks and 33 hurries in one season. To me they should be showing much more production. We have up 278.8 passing yards per game. My head coach is just average at defensive playcalling. On the other hand he is excellent at offensive playcalling and my offense put up 455.3 total yards per game and my QB threw 76 TDs. So I'm just wondering how important some of the veteran FOFers value a rating of very good or excellent in your head coaches playcalling ability?

76 passing TDs? Is that even possible?

I'm guessing you gave up a lot of passing yds cos you were always well ahead and so your opponents were passing every down to catch up.

Your DE's maybe should have got more than 19 sacks between them, but if you were that far ahead every game they were probably sitting on the bench for the 2nd half. How many sacks did you get as a team?

But to answer your question, I don't think it matters a great deal, how you set up your gameplan is far more important.
