Player Names

I just reinstalled TCY after a long haitus. Played my first season and everything seemed to be going well. Once the bowl games started I checked my team and all the player names have changed. The stats stayed the same(as far as I can tell) but every single players name is different. Anyone have a clue whats going on?

I hope not. my original receipt is a bit mangled but I guess I could toss the cd back in and redo and hope for the best
