Hi there

I thought it would be interesting to brainstorm with other fantasy players. Im running a Yahoo league, and i'd like to hear what settings you guys use, spesifically roster & scoring.

I just threw together some settings for my league, they are just a starting point for me. Yahoo has 25 player limit, and 25 score trigger limit.

I have:
QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, TE, K, 4 LB, 2 DT, 2 DE, 2 S, 2 CB, 5 BN

As you can see, lots of defense. Now, the problem is balancing the scoring.

<TABLE id=settings-stat-mod-table class=data><THEAD><TR><TH class=first>Offense</TH><TH>League Value</TH><TH>Yahoo! So there you have it. What do you guys use, what do you think is over/undervalued? I really think i should put the QB td score up. Plus i really think attempts should garner points. But im really worried that things go unbalanced.

What do you do in your league?

Overall very good. My personal taste would make interceptions worth -2 as they really are a killer in real life and should have a reasonably sizable negative affect in fantasy. Only other thing is I believe that DB's have a little too much value over DL's, I might make sacks worth 3 points, forced fumbles worth 3 and add fumble recoveries for 3 as well.

Agree with Danny. Sacks 3 points, FF 3 points, Fumble Recovery 3 points. Interceptions worth -2 or possibly -3 points. Also, when I have run leagues, I always added one or two spots on offense for a "floater". This is a position that can be filled by either a WR/TE/RB. It really helps if you have injuries or a player on your roster that you want to get in the games but have every position filled already by equal or better players. I find it is better than having to troll the free agent list every week.

I'd have to look at the stats more, but might be too many D players. I'd be more tempted to make it 3 DL/3 LB/3 Secondary. Lots of LBs will get you 110+ points given all the stats where a middle RB drops to around 150 so collectively I think 4 LBs stats potentially > RBs so, not sure if that is what you want
